Paladins, an upcoming game by Hi-Rez Studios, is an objective and class-based free-to-play first person shooter with deck building mechanics. Each playable character has unique abilities and a deck of cards that modify those abilities. Players can unlock characters and cards and create builds that suit their playstyle. As a gameplay programmer on Paladins, my role has been more general than my previous role on SMITE. For example, I've implemented cards, abilities, UI/HUD systems, and event-driven music systems. I also contribute significantly to training new employees and interns who have joined the team.
