Watershed was intended to act as a sort of digital mirror that would slowly trace out users that stood in front of it with tens of thousands of colorful river-like trails. The experience we hoped to evoke was one of a blurry, impermanent sense of self. It rewarded stillness because we were examining ways to make people feel more present and more mindful in the moments that they were interacting with them.
